Abstract
The thoracic radiculopathy is a rare pathology among the radiculopathies. The most common cause of the radiculopathy is diabetes mellitus. A tumor is the very rare pathologic cause of the thoracic radiculopathy, and spinal tumors that result in radiculopathies are usually metastases from the other organs. A 43 yearsold man complained of ¡®band-like¡¯ pain on left abdominal wall. He had no trauma history or specific medical history, such as diabetes mellitus. The electrodiagnostic studies showed left thoracic radiculopathy.
Needle electromyography showed abnormal spontaneous activities in the paraspinal muscles at the thoracic levels. Thoracic spine MRI showed intramedullary dermoid cyst at the 10th thoracic spine level.
